Hello Marcia!
March is Women in Science Month. One year we invited female scientists from local universities, corporations, e.g. Proctor & Gamble, General Electric to visit our museum for small discussion and interactive activity groups with girls 14 -18 years old. One of the scientists had girls build a working radio. A question and answer session concluded the day-long event. It was enlightening for the scientists and the young ladies.

We are working on an article focusing on encouraging young girls' interest
in math and science and would appreciate any examples of how corporations,
groups, schools, museums, and science centers are aiding in building this
interest.
