Rhoda, this decision is an ethics decision.  Please search the archives for

This is basically an issue of taking money so that the hospital will use a
certain brand and then patients will recognize it and buy it. It is
unethical in the full sense of the word.

The basic contention is that there is no such thing as a free lunch. Ever.
There are always strings attached, and the ones who pay are the babies.

Please look up Marsha's comments. She is much more eloquent than I am on
this subject.
