Mightn't the SIDS connection with pacifiers be that babies who are
allowed a normal amount of sucking are less prone to this abnormal
illness - that American babies are generally suck-deprived unless they
have a pacifier, because so few are breastfed and most of the
breastfed ones are at breast infrequently?  I'd sure want to look at
*total sucking times* and SIDS, not just pacifiers and SIDS.
