Dear all,

Need your advice and help. My next lecture for the first year pediatric
residents is on dispelling myths about breastfeeding. I need a list of
"serious" myths that are perpetuated by mothers and/or physicians (not to
mention aunties and grandmas). I'll also take some in the humorous category
-- such as the physician who declared that one breast made protein and the
other fat -- was that it?

Any ideas? The lecture/discussion is to be about 45 minutes.

Thanks!

Jan Barger, RN, MA, IBCLC who is hoping to see some of you at the OLCA
conference in Columbus this weekend. Please say hi!!
Wheaton, IL -- rainy & gloomy.
