I'm back on Lactnet after over a week away. Thanks for the well wishes.
Connor is feeding well after a few days of needing finger feeding to wake
him up or get him sucking to latch.
I used Jack's idea of mixing colostrum with glucose water the first two
days. As I don't know how to hand express my wife pumped with 60cc
collection containers on the pump. I then pushed some glucose water through
the pump into the collection containers to bring out the colostrum which was
manly mist and drops the first few times.
This worked well, I'll have to use it again if the need arises with a
patient.
