There is a product called Vicodin, which is hydrocodone. But the mother
would never take 500 mg. Five mg. is more likely.  If this is the drug,
there really should not be a problem.

If there is concern that the babies are in withdrawal, they need more
breastmilk with hydrocodone in it, not less (actually, this probably would
not work, because the amount in the milk is very small). Besides what has
that to do with breastfeeding?  They would have been addicted in utero.
Cannot even pediatricians understand there is a difference between in utero
and out utero?
