Women are born with a finite number of egg cells. My understanding from the physiology I learned (too long ago) is that these will be depleted no matter what she does. When a woman's ovulation is suppressed, whether it be by oral contraceptives, pregnancy or lactation,the eggs which would have ovulated during those cycles die off. Now back to lactation.
