Hi Jennifer, This is my first post to the LACTNET. I've been lurking to soak up info., too as I am a wanna be LC. I too have 3 kids now (as of March). I'm in kind of the same dilema as the patient you mentioned. What I do is sneak my pump to the restroom and double pump for 5 mins. every chance I get. As far as baby's schedule, you're right. My 4 mo. old holds out all day with only 7 or 8 oz. of EBM and nurses ALL night long to compensate. She doesn't like bottles but will take EBM when desperate and formula NEVER! This may be the same scenario for your patient. Hope this helps a little.
