Just read an article about Holly and family. Good news---at 6 months she is still breastfeeding the twins. Said quite a bit in the article about nursing too. Talked about her "power " nursing, which was her term for nursing both babies at the same time. She mentioned how this helped her to lose weight. Talked about expressing her milk in a bottle so dad could feed the babies. Well, at least it's breastmilk. Mentioned how dad would get babies at night and bring them to her to nurse. The twins are in a separate nursery in separate cribs. Talked about how her co-workers are supportive. She has a nursery in her trailer on the set of her show. Apparently her co-workers tease her because she is always running to the set snapping her bra and buttoning her shirt. How times have changed. Didn't Lynn Redgrave and Tyne Dailey have problems with the shows they were on when they were breastfeeding? Now for my vent. Holly decided on a planned C-section, so dad (who is a football player) would be able to attend the birth. Not to mention, she didn't want to push two babies out or feel like she needed to go thru the pain to be a woman. She ended up going into labor a day early. She arrived at the hospital. She asked them too slow her labor, so her husband could make it. He was playing football of course. The doctors actually complied with this request. She still ended up having a C-Section. The article is in the current issue of Ebony.
