Wait and see. Sometimes odd-looking or odd-shaped nipples work fine, and
other times they don't.

I saw a mom with multiple nipples a few years back. Both breasts had about
1.5 inches diameter bumpy elastic nipple tissue on 4-inch diameter areolas.
Milk sinuses were in normal configuration. The baby, about 4-5 days old,
could easily grasp the whole nipple-areolar complex and gulped down
abundant milk. However, the mom was totally freaked-out by her anatomy. She
was absolutely convinced that she couldn't breastfeed - despite her baby
nursing beautifully literally in front of her eyes. She quit a few days
after I saw her. Go figure.
