Last night I met with two people who are trying to interest me in their network marketing venture: one is my family practitioner and the other is a geriatric nurse practitioner. It would seem after 20 years in this community everyone would where I stand! But even my doc didn't and he has referred moms to me (he became our physician after my childbearing and breastfeeding years): I made the comment that I had refused to meet with a couple because the company they were with had a baby bottle feeding on their brochure. Needless to say, lots of good natured ribbing, "I didn't know you were such a fanatic." Maybe with that point I can try the BF office idea out on him; the nursing home the NP works in probably doesn't need the info. Linda Beckler, RN, BSN, IBCLC and proud to be a fanatic.
