In a message dated 97-08-29 13:19:04 EDT, you write: << Just to clarify, having done all the Ezzo classes, I have never heard it said nor have I read that this information should not be discussed with people outside the class. As this information is available in the mainstream, that would seem to be an odd instruction to give. Again, I am not defending the Ezzo's Preparation for Parenting/Babywise materials, just clarifying what they say in them so that we are not accused of inflating the truth. Anne Andis, who is looking at a copy of Preparation for Parenting and would be happy to give direct quotations if anyone would like them. Anne, I'm not sure which edition of Prep you have, but in the third edition it did allude to not telling your health care provider because they wouldn't understand and might try to disuade you from using the program. And as I'm sure you are aware, the statement is made in subsequent editions of Prep that "they have not changed any principles, but have expanded their comments to clarify any previous points that may have caused confusion...." P 14, 4th edition. Note that the 3rd edition is still alive and well and being used; and that in no instance have they ever made the statement that something said in a previous edition was either wrong, confusing, or shouldn't be done or should be changed.
