Re the 10 month old who is losing weight and won't take solids: Another story I have heard where a similar thing was happening, was a mum who was eventually diagnosed with pernicious anaemia. Her milk was severely deficient in B12 and this caused problems in the baby for quite a while before they sorted out what was going on. Baby would not take solids, turned more and more to the breast, and started regressing in his development.
