The SIDRF (Sudden Infant Death Research Foundation) has started to release
information on their new 'Reducing the Risks of SIDS Program' and as
expected the three points highlighted will be: Put your baby on the back to
sleep, Make sure your baby's head remains uncovered during sleep, Keep your
Baby smokefree, before birth and after. A completely referenced health
professional booklet outlining the background for each statement will be
available after 19 June.
They don't have a website. If you wanted to order a copy of this booklet
you could email : [log in to unmask] - and enquire if it's
possible to have it sent overseas (or wherever). If not, they may be able
to email the references.. Airmailing the booklets to individuals overseas
will be expensive for the Foundation, so maybe they'd accept a donation
through a c/card ?
