That means that the post is for Lactnet and Lactnet alone. If it is to be reprinted or used somewhere else, one MUST obtain permission from the author of the post. It is the rules and it is just common courtesy. I have recently had a post I printed on Lactnet be published in another publication as a letter to the editor. I did not send my post to that publication. Someone broke the rules and posted it IN MY NAME to another publication. I am now very upset and it could have bearing on my job and my standing with my institution where I work. It was meant only for Lactnet. You may not use anything without permission. Don't forget that. To do so could cause a great deal of problems for someone, and it is not right. Someone could do the same thing to you sometime.
