I must have been asking for it when I did an internet search on "infant formula", because if you check this page out, you'll be on blood pressure medication within minutes (half kidding...) It's from the FDA, believe it or not, and I just don't know what to make of it. Titled, "Infant Formula: Second Best But Good Enough," it does say things like "Human milk contains living cells, hormones, active enzymes, immunoglobulins and compounds with unique structures that cannot be replicated in infant formula." and "creating formula that duplicates human milk is impossible", but the rest of the article is very disheartening. Can some one help me out with comments to assist me in formulating a response? I don't know where to start.
