I have a question that I'm not sure anyone will have an answer to. What
are the legal rights regarding a bfg mom and her job? Do employers HAVE to
provide a place and time to pump? Aren't employers required to give 10
minute a.m. and p.m. breaks, in addition to their lunch time? It seems I
recall this being the case when I worked for a hospital, even though we
didn't usually take them. The reason I am asking is, I have a mom who
works for a hospital lab. During pregnancy she went from working in the
lab, to doing desk work, which she prefers. Now they want to move her
back, but she doesn't want her old position, considering her exposure to
all sorts of germs. Her boss nursed for 8 weeks (because that was all she
could do :/ ) so she expects this mom to quit also. Anyone have any
stories of women who had to choose between their job and breastfeeding?

TIA
