I encourage moms to "perfect" the use of the clutch (under-the-arm) hold:
 leaves her lap open for big brother/sister to sit and read while she's
nursing, so older child is getting attention at the same time as baby, not
"leftover" time.  I also point out that you can bf a baby with one hand
(leaving the other hand free to chase after toddler, eat supper, roll dice in
a game with other child, etc.), but NO WAY can you bottlefeed with one hand!
 It's fun to see the "light bulbs" go on when they "get it".
