A mother came in to our clinic today. She is a diabetic who's medication
is being changed to metformin (Novo-metformin). It's an oral
antiheyperglycemic agent. Her endocrinologist has advised her to stop
breastfeeding because of the new drug. I'm sorry that I don't have other
clinical details as to why the drug is being prescribed. The only info I
can find is in the Drug info book for Health care professionals.

Anyone with any information? Thanks.
