Alicia, good point about inadvertantly replying to the list rather than
privately.  Never occurred to me since I can't just hit "reply" for Lactnet if I
want to get a proper subject line.  However, I do think usually it's possible to
tell when something has been posted in error, and I'm sure the legitimate
subscribers would not share such a post.

Regarding the "code for permission" (PGUI), I think this is a great idea, but
since those who don't want their posts shared with others seem to be in the
minority, why not add a code to the posts we DON'T want shared.  I wondered to
Kathleen Auerbach last night via email whether this could be part of the
subscription info we all receive in the beginning.  Sort of a disclaimer that if
you "don't want your post shared with other LC's, etc. who don't belong to the
list, please note this along with your signature".  Of course, only those of us
with ethics would pay any attention to this; anybody who really wants to lift
anything can do so!
