Toby Gish posted about a mother with green milk. Am I
correct that this mother also has thrush? That she has had it
since early pregnancy? This is not very common--is it? I
consider thrush in adults as a red-light for immune
compromised system. I would query her for a list of
medications (prescription, over the counter, street; does she
take any steroids?)

As to the green color of the milk: check the color of her
urine. You may find it is green(ish) as well.

You may discover she takes natural vitamins or
supplement that contains seaweed, or a medicine that colors
her urine and breast milk.

Perhaps you can have her taste her milk. Most
likely it is sweet and tasty--despite the color. The taste test
may allay her concerns.

Toby: good luck with all the medical "experts" and their
analysis of the milk. I have a dread of this sort of scrutiny
because (1) most providers have no idea what is causing the
"problem" and (2) will likely recommend weaning.

"It's not easy being green..." Kermit the Frog :-D
