Just had to put this on. My apologies ahead of time to anyone who works as an HMO administrator. 3 people die. A nun, a doctor, and an HMO administrator..high level. They all stand at the perly gates waiting to get in..St. Peter says..ok...Doc...what did you do to deserve to get in here..The MD says.."Well, in my spare time I donated my services to a clinic for the underprivileged, and I saw a lot of people for free who were out of money..etc." St Peter nods, and says "OK go on in." Then he says the same thing to the nun,and she answers.." Well, I deserve to get in because I lived a life of povery , and gave my life to the church, etc...". St Peter nods, and says "OK. go on in. You deserve to get into heaven." He says to the HMO exec.."What did you do to deserve to get into heaven?' and the exec says..."Well, I did my best to revolutionize health care, to make it affordable for everyone, and to keep costs reasonable..". St Peters thinks, scratches his head a minute, and says. "Well, I can see what you mean. You can come in, but you can only stay 2 days." End of joke. : ) Kathleen B.
