Dany Gauthier's message about the probable date for WBW sent me into a spin.
NMAA has recently changed its longstanding Breastfeeding Awareness Month
from October to August to fit in with WBW. National planning has been based
on this date.

We contacted WABA in Penang for clarification, and discovered that World
Breastfeeding Week remains as the first week in August, but that certain
regions in Europe and North America are celebrating it in early October, no
doubt for very good local reasons. It does make me wonder what is meant by
'World' in World Breastfeeding Week, though!

Despite this I hope that wherever we are and whenever we celebrate WBW, it
will be a great success and benefit the mothers and babies we seek to help.
