LLL has a nice saying about how we should do as much educating as we are
given opportunity for and then sit back and "watch the baby work his magic!"

Pearls of wisdom.

Dianne asks:

<<If the Ezzo's claim that God wants babies to be fed every 4 hours then why
did he make breasts to operate on supply and demand? Did he make a mistake
or did they? Just a thought.>>

They don't believe in supply & demand--at least not in the way we do. They
think that constant "snacking" will serve to keep the baby from "eating" and
thereby stimulating the breasts properly. With "God's Way", baby is really
hungry (!), thoroughly empties the breast, which stimulates it to refill.

Remember, they admitted to me that they've never read anything academic on
the topic of breastfeeding.

Re: CBN, etc. Please don't assume that all Christians are going to embrace
Ezzo. Focus on the Family has a statement of non-endorsement....and many of
us who post on the topic do so primarily because it's also an embarrassment
to us as it relates to our faith.
