My favorite topics--vasospasm and thrush--seem to occur together, do others notice that??I have seen people with vasospasm who I also suspect have thrush, and when I treat them with diflucan, the vasospasm goes away. Well, I had a patient recently who I treated for thrush, and she never had vasospasm. She was elated to be better on the diflucan. About 9 days into the diflucan, she had about 3 days of no thrush symptoms, when suddenly she noted blanching and pain in one nipple. She called me 2-3 days into it. I told her to stop the diflucan, and then the vasospasm went away. Wierd or what?-Anne Eglash MD
