There is a presentation of insufficient milk syndrome related to postpartum hemorrhage in the June, 1995 JHL, pgs 123-126. Authors Claire Willis and Verity Livingstone theorize that the cases presented represent pituitary ischemia and resultant lactational insufficiency. These cases do not reflect full blown Sheenan's syndrome which results from Pituitary infarct. Best regards, ------------------ Glenda Deahl, RN,C ICCE
