To all of you who desperately want information on LC earnings...It doesn't matter how much LCs earn next door to you or across the world from you. You must determine your earnings based on the cost of service delivery and what you need to earn to make a living. I worte an article that appeared in the globe based on this approach that tells you how to do the figuring. Plus their are nmerous books abvailable in the US for US Lcs that tell you how to do the figuring. Basically, what most LCs earn is underpricing, that's all I can say in a public forum. Please be wise, and make sure you cover your costs and earn a decent wage in the meantime. I hope people begin to understand this concept. Behave like business people, do research like business people, draw on your experience as a spouse/mother of running your houshold and the great mystery of how much to chrage will disappear. It is just simple math. As for hospital billings, the hospital billing department has all the expertise you could hope for. Go talk to them. They had to set up billing for every other department in the building, LActation department is no different.
