My two children have and do feed all night. I remember that the one who is
now 8 was just beginning to improve when he started to get his two year old
molar teeth. I know I often slept with him during his daytime sleeps, I was
so tired. With my eighteen month old I don't need to make up with sleep
during the day but there are nights where she essentially is attached all
night. It's certainly worse related to teething or illness (rare) however
I've also noticed its worse when I am premenstrual. I don't know if this is
actually a change in her behaviour or whether it is because at this time of
my cycle I am not sleeping as well and am less tolerant of sucking all night.

Anyway, I agree with Kim's recommendations.
