Ideas and titles are not copyrightable. Only the arrangement of words in a
written work are protected.  The only exception is when one tries to cash in
someone else's success by copying their works' title, and when the title is a
registered trademark.  (What to expect the First Year" has no tm symbol after
the title, I just looked at my "donated" (by a disgusted client) copy. I think
you would be well within your rights to write "What I was designed to expect".
 That's a book I would be happy to see in print.
