Joy's case sounded funny (strange, not ha-ha) to me. Primary herpes, in
both my experience and according to ped I consulted), is usually pretty
hairy. This baby just didn't sound sick enough. When one of my kids was
about 2, he had primary herpes in his mouth. He refused to eat and cried
a lot (and he was not a fussy baby). The ped found that his mouth was
full of ulcers and he recommended antibiotic (don't remember what) for
gingivitis. My kid was definitely sick. In my opinion, a second opinion or
even a third is definitely in order for Joy's case. Judy K. in Israel
