I had a question recently regarding the use of lanolin preparations when mothers have sore nipples. They wanted to know what the outcome would be if the mother had a yeast problem and used the lansinoh on the nipples. I suspect it would exacerbate the problem by holding the moisture in enabling the yeast to thrive. What do you think? That brings us around to the moist wound healing philosophy.
