Hi all,
Perhaps one or more of you can help. I have a client who I worked with here in
Los Angeles. The family has subsequently moved to New Jersey, just across from
New York City. The mom has had some problems with her breast implants and saw
a breast surgeon in N.Y. who operated on one breast and, as I understand it,
replaced her old implant with one that is filled with saline. She now needs to
have the other implant replaced, but the surgeon says she has *lumpy breast
tissue* (can we read that as fibercysic breasts? I don['t know, not having
seen her for quite a while). Meantime, the surgeon wants her to stop bfing :(
- surprise! She, however does not want to stop. I suggested she get a second
opinion from a breast surgeon who is very familiar with the lactating breast.
Unfortunately she has been unable to locate one. Do any of you know of such a
surgeon in the N.Y. area that I could refer her to for that second opinion.
I'd be grateful for your support in this. Thanks!
Yaffa
