I find some physician's unwillingness to learn about bf a major stumbling block, and I am puzzled as to the reason for this behavior. As you say, if the issue were heart disease, it would be easily accepted and sought after information. However, with regard to bf, it is a socially loaded issue...I am hosting a conference with Dr. Jack Newman coming as the main speaker in the coming months..the conference is sponsored by the local ILCA affiliate.
