I, too, find the idea that breastfeeding hormones "relax" the uterus a
bit puzzling. Pregnancy hormones, definitely, but why bfg? Especially 2
years down the line.  Was she doing any kegels in the meantime? That is
quite often a first-line recommendation for toning up the pelvic floor
when prolapse is suspected, and could also account for the "tightening".
