I have to say to you Melissa, that in the subject of keeping articles et al straight, I am dismal, and I do mean dismal. I have a file cabinet, and a bunch of manilla folders ...where I TRY To keep stuff. I have a large maybe 3 feet high stack of journal articles....that are in NO order. I have a shelf where JHLs are ( HI Kathy).. I never know where I saw anything, and that is part of my problem. Luckily for me, I havea really good memory... I would like to start off a round of introductions....I think that when we are joined to a new group, we should all introduce ourselves. I will start. I am Kathleen Bruce. Many of you know me...I am a woman of many hats...mother of 3 daughters, 3 Sally, 7 Martha, and 10 Emily. My husband Jamie and I live in Vermont...and I am an RN (no longer practicing), a LLL Leader for the past 7 years, and an IBCLC for the last 2 years. I have had experience on Prodigy LLL, where I have met many of you. I am the conference coordinator for Vermont Lactation Consultant Association, where I met Kathleen Auerbach, and a friendship bloomed...hence LACTNET. I have a dog Ollie, 6 mo old Pembroke Welsh Corgi.....and two cats Ethel who is 13 and Trixie who is almost 2 and a brat. I am originally from Connecticut. Does that cover it?
