Dear Lactnet Friends:

All humans have days of greater (or lesser) appetite.

Think of women, the week before their menses start. Our appetite increases
during that week. Think of a toddler that every now and then eats twice as
much as we eat in a day.

This study from Hornell and Aarts found that exclusively breastfed babies
did have high frequency days, but they occurred at random intervals.
