Congratulations all and especially to the Lactnet founding mothers. I am still here though long retired. I remember when Lactnet was just a dream. I remember reaching out to lactnet when she was 14 months and I was hospitalized and told I couldn't breastfeed her on certain medicines. In fact the doctor said how long are you going to breastfeed her anyway? I didn't know the answer to that and ended up being 5 or 6 years. In any case I don't think we had the books at our fingertips to look up the meds but lactnet got back to me and I kept breastfeeding her of course. Traffic is much lighter on lactnet today and I don't go over to the Facebook one but I still enjoy the discussions. thank you Kathleen and all the list mothers.
