I haven't heard or read of this. In my opinion it doesn't make any sense, because the palate as the base of the skull is not so movable and after the increase of the c-section-rates no increase of "unsettled palates" has been observed. Which would have certainly been the case if the vaginal birth was necessary for the palate to settle....
