I have worked with mothers that were worried when clear milk was flowing. When they continue to pump it transitions to creamier milk. This seems to happen after a long stretch of not removing milk and would be consistent with a large milk supply as well, IMO. Perhaps ask her about the frequency of milk removal prior to this happening? How many times a day does she typically pump/BF? That is a very large volume so she may not remove milk very often. I've worked with mothers with such large supplies and some only pump/BF 4-6x's a day. Curious what others think.... By the end of the pumping session, the fat content has increased, so maybe just an over-abundance of foremilk?>>>> > > Date: Tue, 1 Nov 2016 11:01:05 -0400 > From: Carol leonard <[log in to unmask]> > Subject: clear milk > > I had a phone call from a mom of a 3 month old who is pumping at work.
