Dear Lactnet Friends:

This baby has been using her mouth in one way for 9 months; can't expect
magic resolution after a week or two.

Keep up with the CST, play tongue games with baby, encourage mom to find a
position that is the most comfortable (maybe side lying, or when baby is
drowsy). . . I assume that baby is also taking in some solids now, so it
may take even longer for baby to learn to nurse differently.

Mom may need reminder that baby's teeth and speech will develop better
after the revision, even though breastfeeding is still problematic.

warmly,
