.from my daughter who is a telemetry nurse. She got a text message from one
of the janitorial staff, a young man in his 20's, with a question. He had
walked into the break room on the L&D/Postpartum unit and saw a nurse
pumping. His question for my Abby was "do the nurses on that unit all pump
to feed the babies who are there?" Her response was that no, she was likely
pumping for her own baby. His response was "but she is pregnant. Doesn't
that stuff go bad?" Oh dear.but at least he was asking, he didn't default to
formula, and wasn't all horrified to see someone "doing that."
