I use Medihoney a lot in my practice, particularly with moms who have signs of bacterial infection and would rather avoid antibiotics. It is effective. One new trick I learned recently: adding a tiny bit of hydrogel on the nipple first will stop the Medihoney from stinging if the nipples are very inflamed. One could also use the Honey/hydrogel formulation for this purpose instead of the 100% honey one. I too have no commercial interest in this product.
