I think Liz has done a great job of putting your ethical obligations in perspective. The question really for you, I think, is what your employment relationship is with the doctors. Are you a consultant? Are you on staff? Can you be terminated for refusing to follow a direct order? What are you willing to risk? Your situation may ultimately be more about the terms of your employment and whether you can afford to lose your job, then the legalities of domperidone. :(

There are far worse stories of discipline actions against physicians for prescribing domperidone including a criminal prosecution by a state attorney general. For the doc, the FDA is the least of their worries. They are subject to much harsher and unpredictable handling by state authorities.
