Dear Lactnet Friends: I've been asked to remove photographs of skin to skin care from a presentation because 1) the babies are all prone and 2) the mother or father might be sleeping. These elements are being construed as undermining the Safe Sleep recommendations that babies must always sleep on their backs and never with their parents. Skin-to-skin versus Safe Sleep. How f*&*'ed up can we get???? sadly, Nikki Nikki Lee RN, BSN, Mother of 2, MS, IBCLC, CCE, CIMI, ANLC craniosacral therapy practitioner www.breastfeedingalwaysbest.com *********************************************** Archives: http://community.lsoft.com/archives/LACTNET.html To reach list owners: [log in to unmask] Mail all list management commands to: [log in to unmask] COMMANDS: 1.
