Attending a conference is not a violation of the International Code. The Code has NOTHING to say about attending conference. Your Professional Code (such as the IBLCE Code of Ethics) might have something to say about it attending conferences (certainly CERPS won't be awarded to education provided by Code Violators) but it is up to you to decide whether or not you will attend. Some breastfeeding professionals might want to stay away in order to discourage conference organisers from accepting sponsorship from Code violators but that is a personal decision.
