These mums are already going to be working and pumping, so you're not going to be encouraging them to separate or to breastmilkfeed; you do need to assist them to do so effectively. The way I see it the worst case scenario out of completely ignorant pumps - and I see this over and over in my acquaintance-circle - is that they'll go and buy the cheapest electrical pump they can find; they'll get out very little milk with this rubbish formula-company pump (or worse, be injured by the pump and/or get mastitis); they'll decide that this pumping gig is not for them, or worse that they "don't have enough milk" at all, and they'll switch to formula. I think it's important to inform working mothers who have no choice but to separate on how to most effectively express for them, be that hand expression, a manual pump, or an _effective_ electric pump of appropriate quality, and how to use it in a way that works with their lifestyle and workplace (eg handsfree pumping while doing paperwork, etc). Withholding unbiased, useful information (as opposed to withholding advertising!) doesn't serve anyone.
