So true.  It should be stated clearly that it is a lifestyle issue.
Not a dietary issue.   Not a breastmilk issue.   But really an issue
of 'because we don't spend time outside, midday, nearly naked, during
the summer, until the point just before a burn would occur, which is a
very short time for a Fitzpatrick phototype I and could be a 50
mintues for a Fitzpatrick Phototype IV and *hours* for a Fitzpatrick
VI etc etc etc.

Sounds crazy but it's actually pretty accurate.

Exactly.

Having said that, it is a huge issue.  And we all need to be doing
everything in our power to insure that the current info is getting out
there and that moms and babies are getting the vitamin D the need
*now*.
