[Susan Majoris] Does anyone have experience working with a mom who has had a previous diagnosis of breast fibroadenoma. I am wondering how often we see fibroadenomas and if in fact they proliferate during pregnancy or lactation to cause any significant problems. I had a young lady stop in my office today. She was biopsied for a suspicious nodule and the pathology was benign indication a fibroadenoma. She would like to get pregnant, but wonders if she should have it removed before that. It is not generally something that is recommended since most fibroadenomas recede over the years. However hormonal changes such as pregnancy, menoupause...can make them cranky. Anyone have any experience with this?

	Thanks very much,
