Dear all:

The iron levels in breast milk are perfectly NORMAL if we had appropriate healthy normal 
birthing conditions.  Higher levels would be EXCESSIVE if we had appropriate healthy 
normal birthing conditions.  The high levels in formula are excessive because so little is 
absorbed.  Babies were meant to store iron from the placental transfer, not from breast 
milk, just like babies were meant to get the HORMONE vitamin D from sunlight, not from 
breast milk.
