have any of you read born in the USA: how a broken maternity system must be fixed to put women and children first by marsden wagner? or pushed: the painful truth about childbirth and modern maternity care by jennifer block? if so, any discussion of birth experiences' impact on breastfeeding? both were recommended on an automated email I received from amazon.com based on my previous purchases (sheila kitsinger, updated a child is born, and all the lactation textbooks!)

vicki hayes, enjoying watching lachlan tuck himself into my bed, then pull up his shirt to nurse a teddy bear and ask it "more milk?" ! wow I wish I'd had my video camera! we're all in my room watching "ice age," which just now happened to have the scene where manny the mammoth says of the orphaned baby, "I think he's hungry" and sid the sloth answers "well I ain't exactly lactating pal!" sean responded, "mommy is" !!!
